Why Green

Our mission began during the pre-pandemic times of 2019. As juniors in college, we decided to take a startup experience class together. There, we identified a problem and began the long journey of trying to solve it. As two beach bums from the Jersey shore, naturally we were intrigued by the surfing industry. After many discussions with those involved, we discovered a huge problem that's just beginning to be addressed. There are tons of problems within the surf industry relating to sustainability, but there are also many smaller time players trying to make a difference.  We wanted to be able to help out those trying to make a difference by bringing in some of our own ideas through collaborations, and so, The Green Room was born.
